My once knight

Deception perhaps.
Misled in a myth,
My knight in shining Armour covered in foil,
His heart of Gold nothing but shiny plastic.
Let down by deceit,
His pedastal is removed from with under him.

That Foul Feeling

When that Green eyed monster comes to visit
I tremble with spite,
An utter bitterness consumes my being
And all the good I know is confused
by the splattering of boiling blood.
It is only when I command the monster to leave
I can see the light again.
